Snapshot Visuals provide visualisation and photography services to the Planning, Development and Environment sectors across the UK. We specialise in creating accurate and reliable photomontages so our clients, planners, Local Authorities and consultees can visualise and assess a proposed development within existing imagery.
We are able to guide our clients through the visualisation process, offer advice on best practice and support the design process from inception to completion.

SERVICES
AVRs & PHOTOMONTAGES
AVRs (Accurate Visual Representations) and photomontages are now becoming a common requirement within the planning process. They provide key stakeholders an invaluable tool to assess the benefits and impacts of a proposed development on its surroundings.
Our projects range from simple 3D massing models, to photo-realistic renders, architectural visualisations , walk-throughs, animations and interactive models. Working alongside our clients, we deliver 3D imagery throughout a project life-cycle.
CGIs
CGIs offer the ability to show off development proposals without the constraint of having to match position, scale and lighting to an existing photograph. You don't need to wait for good weather to visit a site, or worry about getting the right angle.
We can tailor our approach to suit your needs, and can help with choosing materials and designing landscaping so you can visualise and adapt your designs quickly and easily.
SITE PHOTOGRAPHY
With years of experience of professional photography, Snapshot Visuals can produce high-quality images for use within LVIA’s, photomontage production and marketing material.
We use the latest professional grade camera equipment which adheres to the technical specifications within best practice guidance used within the UK today. We use professional lenses, tripods, mounting plates and panoramic heads which are calibrated to ensure our images can be stitched to form accurate panoramic images for use in photomontages.
Through use of our GIS services, we can produce ZTVs (Zone of Theoretical Visibility) to establish the potential visibility of a development in the surrounding landscape, which can then be used to select representative viewpoints.
We hold up to date Public Liability Insurance.
In addition to site photography, we can undertake Site Surveys using the latest in GPS, Data Capture and Surveying technologies with data accuracy of up to 20mm.
ZTVs AND GIS SERVICES
Here at Snapshot Visuals, we utilise the most up date date GIS systems to aid our clients in understanding the potential constraints, impacts and visibility of proposed developments.
We are highly experienced in applying these specialist skills in tailor-made packages to suit our clients’ individual requirements. We have invested in the development of bespoke analytical models and built a comprehensive spatial database from a wide variety of private and governmental sources. This enables us to efficiently and effectively provide evidence-based mapping and analysis to decision makers, developers and consultants, across a variety of sectors.
